Welcome to Hikari, a website dedicated to Langrisser. I've found that the internet has a large lack of Langrisser fansites, and that's a shame. Although it probably largely due to the fact that only the first Langrisser ever came to the United States. However, although only the first has been released, many fan groups have taken strides to make some of the Langrisser games available in English. Due to this, there is a small, but devoted fanbase to the series.

Langrisser is a series of strategy games where you can command an army to fight and change the world, whether it be good or evil depending on the choices you make. You play a character who is a "Descendant of Light," one who is able to wield and control the legendary sword, Langrisser.

The site name, Hikari, means Light. This is taken from Hikari no Matsuei, which means Descendant of Light. The Langrisser refers to the power of Light while Alhazard leans towards Dark. These two swords are related and can be used to counter each other.

12/27/2006 - Fixed some minor factual errors, spelling mistakes, and I added the Langrisser 5 Translation guide by Borgor.
12/24/2006 - Put in graphic packs from Langrisser 3 and 4, along with a Langrisser 4 Screensaver.
12/21/2006 - Added opening movies, boxart scans, and 'The Art of Langrisser' section under Misc.
12/20/2006 - Updated Characters, Games and added a Misc. section. Characters from Langrisser 5 have been added and most games have a description now.
04/30/2006 - Hikari's doors are opened for the first time. Layout is built and setup is placed.
